| I asked my hubby This morning I asked my hubby , “Tell me what you think about love.? If I ask you to define it what would you say?”
He said: ‘What Im feeling right now”
He probably thought that’s the shortest route out. But I persisted.
“Na yaar tell na.? Be more specific”
He said: “Giving, taking ,wanting”
I said, “This sounds like a definition of a grocery store.” I fumed. “You make love sound like grocery”
This got him to take notice before I lose it. And wasn’t he a little late cause I was already fuming
Soon he corrected and what followed are the sweetest words I have ever heard.
This is what he said:
“ Love is looking at you early in the morning and wanting to face the day”
“Love is thinking of you when I am in a spot of trouble and thinking I can withstand anything”
“Love is feeling better when I’m with you than I feel when I am alone”
“Love is the confidence I feel when I’m with you”
“Love is the strength I get when you lean on me”
“Love is the thrill I feel when Niev wins a fancy dress competition”
I agreed , “Love is doing the craziest things in the world and not caring a damn about it”. | |
