Raw mango(big) - 1 no (cut into small pieces) Red dry chilly Bengal gram(Kadalaparippu) - 2 tsp Coconut - 1/4th of one (scraped) Mustard seeds - 3 tsp Mustard seeds - 1 tsp for seasoning Oil - As reqd Salt - As reqd Curd - 1 cup
Method
Fry Bengal gram and dry chilly in oil.
Grind it with coconut, mustard and salt into a coarse form.
Add water and grind to a thick paste.
Add handful cut mango and grind coarsely.
Heat oil in a pan.
Splutter mustard and curry leaves and pour the paste into it and switch off the stove.
